Bellmore Veterinary Hospital in Bellmore, NY is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own.   • Dr. Kevin Cronin, DVM

    A Native Long Islander, Dr. Cronin attended S.U.N.Y at Farmingdale to study Veterinary Technology after graduating from high school.  He transferred to New Mexico State University where received his Bachelors in Science. Upon graduation, he was accepted to Colorado State University where he graduated in 1998. He returned to New Mexico to practice veterinary medicine. In 2000 he returned to New York.  Dr. Cronin has worked in many different fields of veterinary medicine since returning to Long Island. These fields include general , emergency and shelter medicine, as well as a mobile spay/neuter surgeon.

    In August 2008, Dr. Cronin began work on his life long dream and started construction of Bellmore Veterinary Hospital, which is located in the heart of Bellmore Village. He incorporated all the materials necessary that he believed would construct a modern and efficient animal hospital.

    Dr. Cronin and his wife share their home with their kids and a host of pets including three dogs, four cats, a snake and a hamster. His hobbies include old cars, woodworking, home improvements and going to horse shows with his girls. When not working, he volunteers as a member of the Wantagh Fire Department.

  • Dr. Jessica Adams, DVM

    Dr. Jessica Adams knew at a very early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She is a native Long Islander raised in Mt. Sinai, New York. A graduate from Mt. Sinai High School, she continued her education at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She earned her veterinary medicine doctorate from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating Cum Laude.

    Dr. Adams loves all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in internal medicine.

    In her spare time, Dr. Adams enjoys cuddling with her pitbull “Buster Brown,” skiing, hiking, reading, kayaking, running, swimming, horse-back riding, and being in the company of her family and friends.

  • Dr. Jannel Irons, DVM

    Dr. Irons is a native of the beautiful island of Jamaica. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then went on to follow her dreams of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and attended Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated Cum Laude.

    Since graduating, she has worked in New Jersey and Queens, NY as a General Practicer and relief Veterinarian. Her main interests include Surgery and Internal Medicine and takes pride in practicing high quality medicine.

    Her hobbies include enjoying the outdoors, working out, and spending time with friends and family. When visiting her friends and family in Jamaica, Dr. Irons also donates her time to the Jamaica Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA).

    Licensed Veterinary Technician
    Heather is a graduate of Penn Foster College. As long as she can remember she has always wanted to work with animals. In her spare time she loves to bottle feed kittens, cook and spend time outdoors. Her animals include a dog named Hooch and a cat named Boogie.

    Diane, LVT

    Licensed Veterinary Technician
    Diane has been working with animals for close to forty years since she did volunteer work as a teenager. She is a licensed Animal Health Technician and has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and animal science from Kansas State University. After college she spent some time in Ghana, West Africa where she was teaching with the Peace Corps. Most of her small animal medical experience, twenty seven years, was at the Bellmore Animal Hospital in Bellmore Long Island where she worked with her late husband, Dr. Arthur C. Walch. She has one son and enjoys being a mom. In her spare time, she loves to read. The family pets include a dog, cat, a cockatiel, a gecko, and a fish.
